Classes are for individuals that are 18 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in Secondary classes.

You must sign up and pay the enrollment fee before the first night of class. Enrollment ends one day prior to the first class unless otherwise specified. Checks will not be deposited until the class meets.

ADULT PROGRAMS

CLASS CA - HAIRDRESSING AND MANICURING

Schedule:
August to May
Instructor: Sarah Smarr

Classes are held during the day Monday through Friday. Adult applications are being accepted until March 10, 2017 at 3 PM. After March 10th applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Testing will begin in January 2016. For more information contact Carolyn Chambers at (660) 747-2283, e-mail [email protected] or stop by the office at 205 S. Ridgeview Drive. Upon completion and graduation of the program students will take a Missouri State Board Exam for Licensing.

PRACTICAL NURSING

Schedule: August to June
Instructors: Angela Simmons, Norman Wilcher, and Shiralee Beck

Upon completion and graduation of the program students are eligible to apply for the Missouri Practical Nursing Licensure Examination.

Certified Nursing Assistant

C.N.A.'s are responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding residents. They also provide residents with social and emotional support.

Certified Medication Technician

CMT's while working under the supervision of a nurse, will administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.

Insulin Administration

Prepares medication technicians in a skilled or intermediate care facility or medication aid in a residential care facility to administer insulin.

Certified Feeding Assistant

You will be instructed in feeding techniques for assisting in feeding and hydration, safety and emergency procedure and infection control.

Restorative Nursing Assistant

The RNA acquires special knowledge, skills and techniques in therapeutic rehabilitation as prescribed and supervised by licensed personnel.
